This is a great product at great price. Arrived as stated and performs as required. If your picky about your stuff like I am, this cord is exactly as needed with the twist lock and the outer ring that threads over my intertek outlet for secure waterproof fit. After I received it, I laid the cord in the sun for a few hours to let it relax from the shipping configuration. New to home generators and I did a test run, with the Predator I bought, for about 3 hours at 7000 watts sustained and this cord was not even warm to the touch. Highly recommend.

We bought this so we can put our generator in a shed and this will allow us to do it! It weighs 55 lbs. so we bought a hose reel with 4 wheels and it works well! Haven't used this yet! The cost was awesome and came fast and packaged well!

Best price I could find on the cord I was looking for. This was my second purchase from them and the first item I bought was very good quality as was the cord. It’s thicker than my other one and looks like it’s very well-made and you can’t beat the price. Whenever I need something I look on their website first.

Really!!! This is fantastic. I ordered it Wednesday night around midnight. It was delivered Friday by FedEx. This was my first time ordering from Vevor. I'll admit, I was skeptical as I have never heard of this company or site before until I saw their name on the BIG Prime online shopping site (I won't mention the actual name). Anyway so I started researching the company, their reviews and their products. I was like... Why haven't I ever heard of them before? So I ordered this 75' 50amp generator cable for our new backup generator. We are just north of Dallas and we have had power fluctuations and outages. In 2020 Texas had the worst outage ever. Our neighbors were 3 days in subfreezing temps without power. Ours went off a couple of times. Our other 30amp generator was barely big enough so we replaced it with a much larger one. I am so glad I found the Vevor.com website. I saved a ton of money and the cable is second to none. I couldn't build a cable for what I paid for this high quality cable. The little orange carrying strap was useless though. It could only go around a very small part of the cable but it can't come close to holding the weight. Not a big deal though, this cable is heavy. It's for a long run so I can place the generator in a shelter far from the house and keep the Carbon Monoxide away from us. Here's a picture of the cable with our setup. Thanks Vevor, I am already shopping on your site to see what else to buy.

As now expected (after multiple orders from Vevor), the quality, price and speed is really really good. I now won't buy anything without first determining if I can buy it from Vevor. Highly recommend Vevor, its products and customer service. - TomD

I've borrowed my friend's cable before and they are always rough and heavy to carry because these generator cables are heavy and awkward to carry around. So after looking around we found this cable and the great thing is it comes with a carrying strap that you wrap your cable in. Super convenient!

*Great* price. The cable does its job. Caveat for users who may need to use the locking ring…the one on my cable does not rotate freely; it’s rather stuck. For my use with a home transfer switch I had to work to push it all the way down so that it wouldn’t interfere with cable insertion and twisting. Regarding insertion, it would be helpful if the molded handle was marked in some way to aid in orienting the plug; I made my own (transfer switch plugs are on the underneath of a wall mounted box). Lastly, accurate shipment tracking information is apparently totally unavailable for Vevor shipments. All that said, for my use this is a 5-star value but the several dings require me to assign it 4 stars.

It worked perfect. Life saver during Hurricane Beryl. Strong cable. The plastic holder is not strong enough for its weight.

Overall cord is a great value and worked just fine. I would have preferred to spend an extra 20-percent on one with a heavier duty cable using 6/4 (4 wires at 6 AWG) instead of this hybrid 6/3+ 8/1 style but the only one I could find with 6/4 was more than twice the cost of this unit and the VEVOR also had a locking collar ring which I wanted as an extra precaution. I ran my generator for about five hours powering my entire home after 2024 Tropical Storm Debbie and the cord worked as expected. The male end for the generator has a nice flip up lever to help unplug it which is nice. The outlet end has the locking ring but the it is made from flimsy plastic and nearly impossible to screw onto the outlet without someone else holding the cord while you gently spin the locking ring onto the outlet. The ring on this one just has too much flex - not like the strong ones on a RV cord and because it has so much flex it is going to cross thread. That said, you can't beat the value of this product.
