It has a good locking system and it is light yet sturdy..

Works good, flimsy at full length. I checked out other ones and they are all flimsy. This one had a better chopping mechanism in the blade is easy to replace

Works very well... sturdy even when fully extended. Price was great. Used for several queen palms trimmings and has worked excellent.

This is a great pole saw. The sawteeth cut quickly and cleanly. The hook ends of the blade make it easy to keep the blade in place and to pull down tangled limbs. At full extension there is a lot of flex, at 20+ feet that's to be expected. Extending the thicker sections first makes it stiffer on shorter extensions. Oil the blade after use to prevent rust. As with any metal pole there is the danger of electrical shock. This is particularly important with a saw as it can easily cut through wiring insulation.

Gardener charges $225 to trim my 4 palm trees. I bought this tool and did the job in about an hour. Works great, only complaint is the locks. When you extend it and use the plastic lock to keep it in position. THe lock is not strong enough to keep the poles from sliding. I had to drill a hole all the way through and then put a nail to keep it extended.

I Bought this item to trim palm branches and it worked exceptionally well for this purpose. Very sturdy even when fully extended. BB
