It may be Chinese made, but it works like a charm.
May be Chinese made and relatively cheap (compared to other big name brands) but this thing sure does behave just like all the name brand ones that I have used over the years. Used on three jobs for my new business and has already paid for itself 5 fold. Also used it with a thread adapter and smaller core barrel to install a pool guard rail for elderly in-laws. Browny points! Remote locations with no running water and works fine with a gravity feed water bucket. Tapped on the side of the core barrel when finished with a small hammer and concrete core fell out every time, like it should. Only down side is that the startup wattage requirement is high and you need a heavy duty generator to power it if you are at a remote location.UPDATE: used on two more jobs and still working fine. One site was just a couple locations, second site was over a dozen cores in both concrete that was 8+ inches deep and old asphalt. Worked fine and did not even trip the fuse when I got impatient and pushed down too hard.... did not realize how thick the concrete was at the site.UPDATE 2: still using it and still going strong after over a year.

Light weight very easy to operate
This is great core drill I use it to core the 8” hole for my kitchen exhaust fan the wall is 12” thick . It is even cut through the metal inside the wall the United rental rent for $280 for the drill and 8” bit , I rather buy this and save for future use since my house is build by concrete slab I highly recommend I am feet happy with this purchase

Worth the buy!!!
Works like a charm. Good for the price. Not sure how long it will last but it works for the time. If you want something inexpensive to get a quick job done, then this is it.

Landscape if has never been this easy.
This is perfect for drill in the ground for my tulip bulbs. It’s a little had to mount to loose soil so sometimes I just holed it in the air.

Powerful Tool
This is a powerful tool. With the correct diamond core bit, it will do the job. I broke my shoulder rest and will need another one.

Works great
I bought this to make holes in a new lava-rock/concrete wall so I can mount an aluminum fence with 2" posts. I didn't get to use it until today and I am really impressed with how well it worked. I only drilled 3 holes because I was learning how to use it but it really was easy. A couple things about how I'm using it.First, I'm not bolting it down like you're supposed to. Instead, I have a 3 foot long 3x4 with a bolt through one end to locate the 2x4 in the drill stand. It's not bolted to the drill, the bolt in the 2x4 just sits in the slot on the drill so the 2x4 won't come out while I'm using it. The other end of the 2x4 has a small piece of 2x4 attached so that the longer 2x4 is essentially level when it's on the drill base. When using the drill I just sit on the 2x4 in order to secure the drill. The second thing is I adjusted the gibs on the drill head so the head can slide very easily and I just use gravity to feel the core bit. The whole setup takes less than 5 minutes to drill and 8 inch deep 4 inch diameter hole.I've got a few hundred holes to drill, hopefully it will last. :)

Hell of a buy
used it it drill 2 8" holes through 7" re-enforced concrete walls. Heavy to place but powered right through. Can't tell you about longevity as I only have 2 holes right now - but this with an 8" bit was far cheaper then pro-drillers and the result is perfect - took about 30 minutes per hole - going slowly. You have to monkey around with the water feed though - not difficult and not that messy if you are careful
