Great aluminum pipe wrench

I chose aluminum because of the weight. A steel wrench this size is ridiculously heavy. I have not put extreme torque on it so I cannot comment on its strength, but for what I was doing, working on freeze-proof hydrants, having extra leverage is always welcome. Makes disassembly a piece of cake.

Light dose it's job would buy again

Im very impressed with the 48 aluminum pipe wrench! I way over worked it with a stubborn backhoe hydraulic cylinder, It was so tight I used my 40 hp tractor to lift pipe wrench and maxed out the hydraulic lift(2000 lbs) and pipe wrench didnt break. Finally got cap loose by cutting around end cap to remove smashed threads. Wrench paid for itself first time I used it!
