We use cones to train our teens much like autocross/soloing classes are taught. It is great for learners, but hard on cones. These cones stood up to being run over - they popped back into shape. As others have noted, the reflective strips don't stay on well; they are more like loose collars. The backing seem sturdy enough actually, so if you want them to stay in place, maybe tape them down. We did get a mystery roll of tape with the order, without any explanation. Anyway, knocking cones over and/or driving over them will slip the reflectors off and/or rip them. We don't really care because we are not training at night. One long session with our teen in an abandoned parking lot and the difference in driving skills was AMAZING. Get these cones and retrain the family whenever there is a new car. (Remember to overinflate your tires for sharp turns.) Can't say enough good about that kind of practice, or about these cones being a price-conscious fit for the task.
