Ok, yeah its annoying, but it works.
Photo one: my cheap ass solution to the sound.Photo two: a decibel reading from 1 foot away from the machine with the lid and no box.Photo three: same distance from the cleaner, but with the lid and box on.

It does a very good job cleaning brass casings!
As the item review stated the temperature does go higher than set for while operating the ultrasonic action. I have learned to turn it off early such that it stays closer to what I desire. I use this every week to clean brass and it does a very good job. I use the Lyman Case Cleaner solution with distilled water. I set it for a temperature of 35 for 30 minutes and it usually gets to 50 (Celsius) around 120 degrees Fahrenheit. I let the unit sit for 15 to 30 minutes after it completes the time set. I like the fact that it automatically shuts itself off! People have said it is loud but I put some small pieces of old towels at the bottom of the top and it is much quieter. I do not feel it is too loud without the padding. The unit has worked consistently for over 100 uses so far. It is much better than the Harbor Freight unit I had before this one.

small but powerful!
I thought that its size was not going to do a good job but it has surprised me, it works very well!

If you shoot fire arms…you need this
I bought this cleaner with high doubts as I thought it would be snake oil. But after I put the cleaner to work (along with a quality ultra sonic gun cleaner solution) I was blown away by the results…… after the session it was a simple wipe off and lube. I highly recommend

Great
Only cons are it takes a while to heat up and it's noise. But it helps cleaning my tools, glasses and etc.Quality is good .If you have dogs please take them distant from the cleaner when on, it hurts their ears.

The unit came well packed and very easy to start using. The controls are very easy to use, the drain is helpful, and the basket is sturdy. The Vevor is effective at cleaning jewelry, coins, carburetors, and pretty much anything with oxidation or grime. Highly suggested for anyone who works with tools or wants to refresh jewelry. I found Zep orange citrus based degreaser to be a good cleaner to use, at about a quarter cup in the tank with very hot water. Maybe my hearing is bad, but it isn't terribly loud, just annoying, so run it in the garage or basement. The downside: The heater is woefully weak. It takes a very long time to change the water temperature even a couple degrees, so the recommendation is to use hot tap water, and even heat it in a microwave to get it up to the desired temperature.

great deal
I bought the 15L one with the justification that is the best price per letter at the time but If I had to do it again I would just go for the 30L. It is really big and storing it away is a pain in the butt. I have not had any issues with the Ultrasonic part but the water heater does not heat the water hot enough and does not have the energy to keep the hot water hot.

The instructions could be much more clear. For example, under "add cleaning liquid" is it saying that the tank should be at least be 2/3 full or 1/3 full? Also, should it say "don't use flammable liquids" instead of "use flammable liquids" ? Also, it would be nice if there was a mark i the tank that shows the minimum level. Then the instructions about it should not be necessary.
