This cleaner is by far the best I’ve ever used in the last 50 years. I’ve never used a cleaner without flammable solvents. I used a Purple cleaner with a small amount of Simple Green and I have never seen anything clean carb parts so well without harmful solvents!
I have already used this machine to dip my pistons and rods into to clean them and good god I will say minor and I mean minor scrubbing with heavy carbon since these are pistons out of a 5.9 Cummins with 382k original miles and cleaned them right up to almost new. I even threw in all the oil contaminated and crusty bolts off the oil pan and they came out cleaner then I thought!
Just picked up this UltraSonic cleaner for my guns and man it works wonders, sorry for the crappy audio.. lol you can see the before and after although the first gun was way worse but came out like new as well. I used a 50/50 solution of water and Purple Simple Green and got the UltraSonic
Works great. Good size for small parts and hardware without taking up a lot of space. Even plain water cleans up 50 year old rusty engine parts much easier and just as good as wire brushing with solvents. Way, way less mess too.
The machine performed reasonably well and all of the features worked. The only disappointment is the transducer is much weaker than needed and even with higher temperatures and prolonged cleaning times the results were disappointing. Perhaps skipping this model and opting for a larger and more powerfully equipped ultrasonic cleaner would be money better spent. This unit is suitable only for small jewelry and eyeglasses needing light cleaning.
the additional heating wattage does heat up the solution quickly. it heated up 4.5 gallon from 15c to 45c in about 40 mins and it's 3x faster than the other unit that we have.so far the ultrasonic is working as expected.do wish that they had installed a bigger valve, but it's not a big deal.
Definitely buy this if you work on small engines (dirt bikes, lawnmowers, ect). I use purple power for dirt and grease and a sealed mason jar with gasoline for carburetor parts. Parts come out looking almost new
