Does what it's made for but the lid needs some extra support as it pulses up and down and causes it to have an inconsistent run

Most people have issues because they don't have a large enough cooling water set up to keep the cooling water dissipating the heat. I use a 55 gallon drum of cooling circulation water to the condensing coil pot and that seems to work fine. I am using this for mostly water and Alcohol (Not the drinking kind). It works well and essentially this can run all day long as we use Distilled water for drinking water and our pets (Our water is heavy calcium and Iron content so we distill then add back in essential minerals). Temperature is pretty accurate. Checked it with an external thermometer.

Great setup for a beginner just starting out and doesn't have much knowledge on thumper kegs. Easy to set up and run. Most people will say the condenser is too small and overflows but they just don't know how to properly use it. Just put the setting on low and open the outlet valve fully and the inlet a little less than fully open and it should never overflow at all. It takes a bit of tinkering to figure out the sweet spot of the valves. Instruction booklet also has some pretty good recipes in it as well. Not too good of detail in some pictures beings they are kind of hard to see due to the poor image quality but has detailed instructions written step by step. But for the price it is you can't go wrong with it. Perfect gift for a knew hobbyist starting out the art of distilling.
