Easy to use and packed with features you would find in a much higher priced unit. Highly recommend! If it gets damaged during transport to job sites, replacing it will not kill your budget.

After around 800 splices I’ve had no problems.I was running a fujikura 60s and I kept getting error screens after I paid $720 on having it serviced. I didn’t have 10 k to wrap up in a 90s so I took a chance on the AI-9. I’m extremely happy. It’s fast and the battery has no problem doing over 144 splices and shrinks. . I can do 20 minute dozens. I get good splice readings 99% of the time .00-.01 and the ODTR hasn’t sent me back to do any reburns.

Once you charge the battery this machine is ready to splice right out of the box. Others you need to calibration done not this machine. Cleaver cuts perfect and the strippers work perfect as well. This machine burns perfect to the point the day I got it I spliced with it and OTDR shot to where I needed to micro bend the fiber to find my splice location. This machine for the price you can not beat it.

So far, Vevor has delivered quality products for my networking and server closets projects. Skip the big names, you could buy two or three of these splicers and still have plenty of money left over for a vacation.

I own a fiber company. We have several splicers. We run lots of high end machines. Bought this just to have in a truck for emergency repair work. I have used it several times, have 100 splices on it now. It works great.

This is our second order and the cleaver in the Splicing kit does not work properly. The same issue was experienced with the first device kit purchased.

Work in IT and needed to extend a fiber. Is also handy to have for future repairs. Easy to use ( never spliced fiber before ) and I couldn't believe how easy it was. Buy Miller fiber strippers to make your life easier too.
