They work!
I purchased these for our dock to make it easier to get in and out of the water - they shipped real fast. They fit perfect on the dock and are great to use and steps are sturdy - the railings have a slight wobble to them but yet sturdy to hang on to. They no longer come with the black rubber mat for the steps as shown and website was not upgraded - but have a slip resistant steps- great customer service when asked about this -

Good quality for price
I wish it would have worked for our dock but it didn’t so I had to return it. There is a lot of hardware! Good slope on stairs and double handrail is what I liked.

Extremely Well Made...
...and sturdy. When the box arrived, it was marked as a heavy item. Easy to assemble, an assistant made it much easier.

Dock stairs
I connected it to the end of my dock which is in about 6 feet of water. I added a couple longer poles to it and we step down about a foot after the bottom step. We like it and use it a lot.

Really nice looking, a few quality issues
The stairs themselves are vey nice looking. They are coated... not just bare aluminum. It feels like the coating reflects the sun's heat, so the top tread doesn't get not when it's in full sun. The riser height is comfortable. The tread depth is a little shallow. For something called \"stairs\" I would have liked a tread depth closer to a standard tread depth. But the 4 step unit doesn't feel particularly uncomfortable to climb. The packing list and instructions don't tell you what size the bolts and nuts are. I was guessing that I needed a 1/2 wrench. That worked for most of the nuts and bolts, but a few required a 13mm wrench instead. One of the included nuts was the wrong size, so I had to buy another. That's not a big deal, but that was when I realized the nuts and bolts were metric. I would have liked to have twice as many washers as was included. Some of the holes are only slightly smaller than the bolt head or nut. It feels like it wouldn't take much for the aluminum to deform, and the bolt/nut to give lose. I wound up buying the extra washers for a couple bucks. The width at the bottom support is such that I couldn't actually use 2 washers. You're supposed to use a flat washer and a lock washer. Because of the width of the bottom support, I was only able to use the flat washer. In order to get a 2nd flat washer and the lock washer, I had to buy a longer bolt... again, for a couple of bucks. The square connection extensions from one of the rails were twisted making it difficult to insert into the uprights. I was able to assemble both rails with a little extra work. In general, I think this is a really nice set of stairs. It seems to be a good value. But there are a few minor quality issues.

Nice steps for mounting an incline, too.
I'm getting too old to hop up a particular ditch slope. This set of steps, staked securely (LONG rebar stakes) solved the problem! I can now just walk up from the driveway to the top of the small bank without having to risk jumping up or jumping down. We'll see how it weathers. It's looking great so far!

Easy to use and install. Fits in small spaces. We needed a set of stairs that fit into a fairly small space so this worked out well. Would recommend.

Was worth the price
I just assembled and installed this dock ladder and am pleased so far with the product and the price. I have no idea how long it will last and it's durability but so far so good. The only thing I have an issue with is the sturdiness of the handrails. No matter how tight I bolted them down, they still wobbled more than you would want and ended up installing plastic shims to fill the voids where the handrails fit though the vertical inserts. This did the trick and they are now stable although this is something the manufacturer should resolve as part of the production process.

Well Made
These steps are well-made of aluminum and are easy to assemble. It is sturdy and very durable with a 500 pound rated capacity. This is made to use around water as it is made of aluminum. I am using it for steps to a storage trailer. I could have built one from wood cheaper but this one will last indefinitely.
