Perfect Shelter

The yurt was built very well. The canvas is very thick and quite rain resistant. I would say possibly add a hydrophobic spray for extra protection. But the floor was very dry despite the rain we experienced the weekend we camped. The pin that goes to the door unfortunately broke off from the first time I was taking it down. I didn’t think it to be a major issue but it is actually pretty important to stabilize the door fabric over the frame. Other than that one thing the yurt was everything needed and then some. A cautionary note to summer campers you’ll definitely want to open the vents and even detach the sidewalls to allow for better air circulation. Otherwise you’ll need a fan or something to keep air circulating and cool.

There are clear markings for where everything goes if you put it up with light to see by. There are only 2 poles and they are simple to put in place with clear markings . It's roomy and attracts lots of attention. The zippers are smooth and sturdy. The guy line come already attached and with the cord tensioners in place. Velcro near the fire vent flap is poorly thought out as velcro is plastic and melts and puts off noxious fumes. (obviously we had an adventure.) Just like any other tent, it comes with stakes, but you should invest in a lot of extra substantial ones. It is heavy. I use a 50 gallon wheeled tote instead of the bag it came in so I can move it.

Tent easy to assemble, pre-assemble in back yard before trip, broke down great and packed up perfectly. The canvas belts to the tool and stake organizer could be better sewn, maybe using a "Box/X" Pattern on the belts to attach to the cover or the belts should encircle the whole cover. I think the tent otherwise was great, but like to see additional pockets or netted baskets around. Other than this it is perfect.

Bought 10 tents for a weekend wedding celebration. perfect for the occasion. F4M fit queen mattress and 5M fit king mattress both behind pole. Guests loved them. Suggest setting up in shade or buying shade sails as tents retain a lot of heat from sun.

Yurt life

I have been living in this yurt for the entire winter. It needed a little alteration to be dryer and warmer for the winter but during the summer it was absolutely perfect. It’s sturdy. Functional. It’s large and comfortable. The zipper on the front wore out but can be fixed easily. I have definitely put it to good use and it’s still standing and in near perfect condition after a solid 6 months of use. I’m sure this isn’t what the product is intended for but while we’re finishing building our house it has been an absolute gem.

Overall this was a great purchase for the price. The side walls were a bit shorter than I was expecting and I really had to work to fit an XL Cot between the center pole and the walls but I was able to make it work. The tent kept me warm in rain and freezing temperatures. I did not use a stove, but I did have a Buddy Heater connected to a 20 pound propane tank; I left the tank outside and ran a hose through the stove jack. I would definitely want something bigger if I thought I'd use it for myself more but I just had to get though one season & will now use it as an extra shelter for when my kids/grandkids come camping with us.

Bought as a hunting tent, super warm with just a buddy heater (mild temps for pnw buck season this year) will be perfect for colder seasons. Only issue is height, thought was advertised as 6’8” but just over 6’ tall dead center of tent. Still perfect for two people and small gas heater or one with a small wood stove. Did have some condensation inside on colder and wet nights. Going to search for a rain fly for this tent.

We had a very rainy weekend, and we stayed dry mostly. We had a couple of drops that was noticeable but it did not ruin our weekend. The material is high quality in my opinion and the zippers felt strong. I have no complaints.

In the image there is no VEVOR logo, but my tent arrived with a huge VEVOR logo on the front. The pegs were larger than the last tent. They seem to mold quickly if you don’t treat them. This is my 3rd tent in two years.
