Unit works fine, just don't rely on the built in Voltmeter or dial indicator. I purchase and installed a "HiLetgo Digital Multimeter AC 80-260V 100A PZEM-061 LCD Display Digital Current Voltage Power Energy Multimeter Ammeter Voltmeter with Current Transformer CT" This unit matches a Fluke 117. I used the Yellow wire to monitor amperage. INTSALL AT YOUR OWN RISK.

It claims to be a "20A" unit, as noted by the 20A fuse in the unit, but... -- the power cord is only rated for 16A and 70°C and... -- the outlets are only rated for 15A (each), and still exceed the "20A" unit rating by 10A, if maxed out.While I don't believe anything bad would happen during normal intended use, one might consider replacing the 20A fuse with a 10A fuse, so the fuse works as intended and blows out before any damage can occur.Thanks

Husbands very happy with it

I bought this so I could safely apply power (slowly) to my AL-811 amp that had been sitting around for a few years. It performed perfectly. Since then, I have seen quite a few of this exact model at various places - hamfests, people's house, and so on. And they use them all the time as well. So I would say that this would be a great choice for anyone who needs to do this, and/or for other purposes (such as fix a low voltage or over-voltage problem). Very happy 5-star from me.While using it, I had a kill-a-watt voltmeter/ammeter/wattmeter plugged in to it, so I could have a reading that I already trusted. The voltage dial on this device was a little bit off, maybe 10%, but it's a small meter and at least repeatable, if that matters to you. I assume that you already have a way to measure voltage :)

I like the color, excellent ventilation. Working great to quiet down noisy HEPPA air filters.

Nicer than advertised

I find this transformer to be VERY well built and extremely useful. The back-lit digital voltmeter is an added plus. Testing with a multimeter reveals the voltmeter to correlate well with observed values, averaging between -0.1 to -1.3V. That's pretty accurate for the price! Although specified output is 0 to 130V, I measured a maximum output of 149.6V. I'm very satisfied with this device.

Works great... use a voltmeter to verify the actual output though. The voltage on the display is off by a few volts.
