Not a 43 amp at all! I bought mini engines and mini from Beaver also and I was wondering how a 43 amp is slip past me that's why I ordered this one particular and just like the rest it's only34 amp. Very let down to say the least

Great motor. Strong . Fast. I like it. It made my razor 500 awesome. I drilled holes in it to cool it but no problem so far

mx350 application
so i built this razor mx350 because i was ready for more speed and i had to pick vevor. first of all, i would just get the 1800w kit as this is the same. second, you can buy nearly any 3 pin throttle. now i don’t have much to say except the shipping. it took nearly a week to get to me (since i live on hawaii, yes they do ship here) i will update whenever

Worth it
So I suck this on a razor dirtbike... It's as quick off the line as an rm65 now... Pulls wheelies even you can even move the voltage up\ down if you move a jumper inside the controller

Try a 72v pack
Overall the kit is good, however I had a 60v pack that threw it in limp mode and only gave 10% power, I switched to a 72v pack and that seemed to have fixed the issue

Great motor.
Use this for my 1.5kW VAWT so I don't have to pay $10 per 100 miles of range on my electric car.

Extremely surprised. Especially with the controller.
Pleasantly surprised with the controller, put some decent power. The motor itself is really good. You just have to know what you’re doing. Sometimes you cannot text peoples reviews too serious. We have to keep in mind, that they may be new at what they’re doing.

Great motor kit, wish the shaft wasn't metric
Worked great for my 72v electric go cart, lots of power. Luggs my 200lbs up to 35mph if you gear it correctly. My only complaint is that it's a tiny metric output shaft, was a real pain trying to find sprockets or pullies to use with it.

You must understand how to use a voltmeter.
This is a great kit to get started with. Keep in mind this is not plug and play. There is only one connector that is guaranteed to click to ANYTHING and that is only for the motor hall sensors. The motor phase wires (thick blue, thick yellow, thick green) attach to the yellow/black bus block with the 5 screws, along with the thick red/black wires for your battery.A few tips if you are mounting this to a Razor MX500/650 or RSF:First, on the motor, you need to remove the 3 phillips head screws and lightly counterbore the holes until the screw heads sit just below the surface. Use a drillbit that is slightly larger than the screwhead. There is a video on YouTube from "MarleyJax Garage" where he shows the complete install for a kit like this and shows this portion in detail.I highly recommend to get a lithium ion battery that matches the voltage for the motor kit you're buying. If you use SLA batteries or add more SLA batteries to get higher voltage, you will have terrible battery life. After I got this kit running, I put in an order for a lithium battery set just a few days later. It was horrible.Yes, there is a 3 speed setting. If you do nothing with this connector and just leave it hanging, the motor will run at full speed. If you want to use the speed selector, get a throttle with 3 speed switch. It will probably connect. If you want to limit the speed without a switch, you can do this with a paperclip. Put one end of the paperclip into the black wire (middle) and then jump it to one of the other wires. I forgot what colors they are and which color gives you medium and low speed. If you put it on low speed, it will dramatically improve battery life. The low speed is still much faster than stock. The acceleration might be neck-breaking for a child. The original throttle and motor controller do a great job of gently easing into the acceleration. With this controller, the second the throttle engages it is pretty violent. It's not a deal breaker. Just be aware of this.If
