Nice machine but a little noisy! Definitely needs to go in a separate room where you can close the door

We needed a solution for our office because the icemaker in the fridge was not fast enough and nobody refills the icetrays in the freezer except me. This was on sale with freight included so I went for it. We had to add a condensation pump unit because a drain was not readily accessible. The ice machine has been a great add to the office . It makes alot of ice and keeps up with our daily needs.. We did have to buy a food grade stainless steel mallet to bust up the ice sheets.

This ice maker is perfect for my shop...easy to hook up and it makes alot of ice quickly....it's a great buy for anyone.

The machine makes ice very well. The only problem I have with it is the grind on the back does not allow the ice to separate very well. You are supposed to be able to adjust the thickness of this, but I have been unable to find a happy medium, other than the original setting. However, it does make a lot of ice. And an excellent price. Additionally, Vivar has been very responsive to any problems. They are an excellent company to deal with.

Really nice ice maker. A little learning curve on getting the ice thickness correct. I didn’t realize you could set it to a negative number. Started at 10 (I think) but that was too thick so I put it on 5 and I guess I didn’t do that change correctly because it got thicker. Then I read the instructions again (they are not worded correctly) and it says a bigger number males thinner ice. That is wrong! I put it on 25 and froze up the machine. I think 25 is the minutes that water runs over the freezing grids. The ice was about 2” thick and I had to shutdown and let it melt and drain. I started pushing the (-) button and got all the way down to minus 9. Perfect ice thickness. Nice machine. Kinda loud but really makes ice quick. It keeps the ice bin cold so the ice storage is good. Really like it.

Awesome ice maker, especially for the price. I have this ice maker set up in my enclosed patio and it works great for day to day needs and is awesome for summer camping trips and weekend parties. Thinking about a second one for my camper

Nice product set up easy.

I bought is for filling my small cooler and my water jug for work everyday. I'm pretty sure if you keep cleaning it out and have it in a cool environment this will probably make double the amount of I've that it states in 24 hrs

We have only had this ice maker in service for about a week, but this ice maker works as expected, and we are happy with this purchase.

Nice machine. Works good on my porch. Handles my needs and keeps up well. I would recommend this unit to anyone who doesn’t need the commercial size machine.
