The cat wheel got here pretty quick it was super easy to assemble. . I didn't even need the instructions wth the exceptions of the locking mechanism. I assembled it in about 20 minutes. Immediately my cat Casper was on it. He runs on it and probably reaches 30mph. It's unreal. It is noisy but not so bad you can't get use to it. If you want your cat to get muscle, this is the way to go. He loves it. My other 2 have been on it but they are scared of him because he takes over everything maybe one day they will get to run on it.

This wheel is HUGE. Measure your space before buying to ensure it will fit. That said, it’s very good quality. The pressed wood has a smooth lamination layer on top with a little bit of gloss. The detachable carpet is an awesome feature for cleaning purposes. And the “quiet time” lock (in the shape of an adorable fish no less) is such a thoughtful piece. It IS loud. As another reviewer so aptly said, it sounds a bit like rolling thunder. Even in the video you can see our girl is still getting used to the noise. But with the lock, you can always shut it down when you need things to be quiet. All in all, VERY happy with this purchase and would recommend it to everyone looking for a solid wheel that should last you for years to come.

This is Great arrive early not easy to put together we started with the wheel don't over screw the screws, once that was done the base was easy we didn't follow all the instructions as they were in 2 sizes and a bit confusing so we followed the picture, for the base as long as the wheels are all pointing up and in the right place you got it ,one of our cats loves this and no it's not quite when it goes fast we put a bit of carpet under our and that has helped.

When I first opened the box I thought, \"omg what have I gotten myself into!\" Then I laid everything out and put base together, and thought, it's smaller than I thought.\" Then I got the wheel together and thought \" it's bigger than I expected!\". All in all there were a few minor chips or scratches, most that dont show after assembly. Directions were simple to follow. It went together easily. It's stable and relatively quiet. Two of the cats are curious, have walked on it a bit following the toy, but havent run yet. I think it'll work out fine once they get accustomed to it. (Lazy kitties, frowning at the idea of exercise!) Only issue I have is carpet is actually about an inch too long! I would but again.

I decided to try this because it looks sturdier than the \"name brand\" one. I just put it together and wanted to share my thoughts so far. One of my cats did climb on with some toy motivation. The other one attempted to twice but stopped when the wheel started to move. It seems promising though. Pros: Arrived 2 days early, sturdy, plenty of room (bought the largest size to be safe), pretty simple to put together if you've ever put together furniture before, came with a bunch of extra hardware Cons: the carpet insert liner thing is one piece and it was about an inch too short. It would have been better to have multiple pieces to make it easier to install, ensure it stays straight when you're installing it, and to replace it in the future. The clearance between the wheel and the base (where the cat would be running) is small, but after my cat stepped on I realized it's just big enough for a toe bean to go in so that does worry my slightly. Also the base ends (on the outside of the wheel where the fish lock is) have a large enough space for a cat to easily put their arm in so it's a concern that one cat will be messing around with an arm in it and another cat decides to jump on. For now I will make sure it's \"locked\" when I'm sleeping or busy until I know they are more familiar with it. I do have high hopes for it and will update after I make more progress with the cats.

Oh my gosh this is the best thing I ever bought for my cat. I have a Bengal she uses it every day even without me playing with a toy with her to Chase on the wheel. She goes on it by herself. Highly recommend recommended if you have high energy cats like bangles.

It took us about two hour to put together but if you have a drilled it will be faster. Instructions are not the best but can be figure out. It is not super quiet but also not too loud and there is a latch to stop it from moving at any time. Nice quality, good finish and even extra screws and tools. Cat needed a couple of days to get the hang of it but once she did it was non stop from there, she loves it and is getting better at it every day she now runs without stumbling for several seconds at a time. So happy with this purchase.

Cats learned quickly when treats were held out of reach above , then jumped on without encouragement or treats, all by themself later on.
