I purchased this chain hoist to work on a boat motor I’m replacing. The hoist was used but in great quality. It was very helpful for the job. I was able to hoist the motor up and work on it from every angle. The price was really reasonable and I would recommend to a friend to buy this from amazon if needed.

I purchased a 40’ h.c. Shipping container and the delivery truck unloaded it about 15’ from its intended storage location. With a fair amount of work,The product performed beautifully to relocate it!!!!Great buy for the money.BB

The tool is very heavy duty

Only used it once so far and it did great. It was easy to free wheel as I removed the slack while using it to fell a tree I was removing in the edge of my yard. I then applied tension to make the tree fall away from my house and it worked great.

It’s a high quality item. It weights a ton and can lift a few tons. Sadly the shipping container wasn’t protective enough and it arrived partially defective and wouldn’t hoist even a cmu block without binding down on itself. I think it was dropped since the box was badly destroyed (covid shipping quality perhaps). The seller was easy to deal with and assured me they would correct the shipping materials for the future customers. Overall I’d say it’s a great item, just be sure to check it quickly in case of any damage in transit. 4 stars on packaging since it is such a large and heavy item, but customer service was stellar and the item seems like it’s durable enough to lift anything in the weight ratings.
