Easy to use and Worked as intended

When the chimney sweeps came to clean my chimney they used a device identical to this. When I saw that this was available to buy, I did not hesitate. I've used about once a year to clean the chimney. It is designed so that the ball is off balance, spinning the drill bounces it against the walls and knocks the creosote off. But a big box underneath to catch all the falling stuff, and have an assistant with a shop vac to help keep the area clean while you do it.

Great product. Keeps your feet on the ground and off the roof.

My husband used it on the heater chimney.

As I was using this product, the first segment and brush head unclipped and came loose within the chimney, falling down and getting stuck on a bend with a sickening thud. My heart sank... Luckily, I was able to push it downward with the extra rods, around a few bends and get it out of the bottom! After that I decided to use duct tape on every joint for extra insurance, making sure to wrap the tape in the opposite direction of the drill's rotation (don't need it coming unwound in the chimney). This worked great! My suggestions would be 1. Tape all joints! 2. Get a few more rods than you think you'll need. You never know when you'll need the extra length to push some rods out that you may drop. 3. Have a helper at the opposite end to remove the brush once it comes through (the brush prevented mine from going back up, once through).

This is by far the easiest way to clean a chimney. Great product !

Easy to use and cleans really good

I have owned another brand of chimney sweep that was of inferior quality and did not last more that two sweep cycles. This kit performed very well, did a good job of cleaning a very sooty chimney. The sweep head is durable and after use it showed only minor wear. I recommend this item and would buy again.

Best chimney sweep I've ever used, and didn't even have to climb on the roof . Would highly recommend
