This machine is great. After having it for only 1 month it's 1/2 paid for itself already. I own a brewery and we offer Wine, Margarita, Beer and always have a non-alcoholic slushies on for the kids. Making sure the sugar level was correct with BRIX was easy for me because we do that when we brew and already had a hydrometer.
It's heavy as hell and pretty well built was delivered on a pallet. The bowls are a nice heavy plastic and it disassembles easily to clean. One oddity (maybe because it is Chinese made) is that the bowls are listed left to right as 3,2,1 - backwards, so when you're selecting the bowl to change settings on the control panel it messes with your head.
My only real negative for this machine is the drip trays don't sit level unless you shim them, so for example you can't pour a drink and set it down on the little tray. We use glass hurricane glasses and they slide off. If you were using styrofoam it would be fine. Not a show-stopper by any means because I love this thing.
Definitely worth the money, and would recommend to anyone wanting to make a lot of sluhsies.
