It causes creases in the hats because the hat does not fit on the bases well. There needs to be an insert or something so there is not so much room between the pad and the press.

I purchased this machine to make hats for my grandson’s racing logo. I have made several different hat styles from a SnapBack to a straw hat. The machine is very easy to use and has saved me money to be able to make my own hats. It has been the best investment o could have ever purchased!

Stable machine
Very stable machine, but it's advisable that you get a Laser heat thermometer to ensure correct temperature The foam around the handle is a bit flimsy but other than that I think it's going to work great with some testing.
