To reverse a Vevor Single Phase Electric Motor 143456, Swap the connections T6 and T8 power wires coming from the motor; (this reverses the polarity and changes the direction of rotation).

Installed on a drum sander. Been in use for 2 years. It is a solid motor. Good value. Would buy again.

The motor is great - the instructions are lacking
The motor is exactly what one expects for a dual voltage & reversible product. The instructions properly detail how it should be wired for each potential supply voltage. However, as it relates to direction of motor rotation (something critical to most purchasers) the instructions simply state that the reversal of two named wires will reverse the rotation. The user is left to guess which way the motor will rotate if it's connected one way vs. the other. This means there is a 50/50 chance that connecting the wires may have to be done twice. Just a little more information would be most helpful to the end users.

I can't get the motor running the electric repair shop said it was the defective reset switch. Can you let me know how to get a replacement? Rthill4045@gmail.com

VERVOR 2HP MOTOR
I received the motor in timely fashion, packaging was very good. The motor is installed and runs perfectly. The only issue I had was the plastic black cover over the shaft. It looks to be part of the motor and was very tight on the shaft, giving you the feeling it was supposed to stay not come off. After much consideration I wanted to be sure it was the shaft so I took a knife and slid it alongside the shaft, imagine my surprise when the knife bit into it! After a little whittling I was able to remove the cover and finish the install. I would suggest a sticker letting a person know it was to be removed or a different color for the cover to make it stand out. Other then this little issue the motor is nice and quiet and runs great.

Works great, good quality, very reasonable price, not much else I can say until I've run it for awhile

The motor is being used on an exterior saw to cut large pieces of wood. Motor is hooked up and seems to operate as needed.

Very happy with this for the price. Seems well made. I haven't had any problems with it.

Works well for my boat lift.
I bought a pair of these after my father bought one for his lift. We both live on saltwater canals in Florida. After a couple months outdoors, you can see rust on the screws and the case. I hit it pretty well with Fluid Film to hold down the corrosion. I also removed entirely the box containing the thermal reset switch - don't need that for my application and the boxes wouldn't fit under the motor covers. I covered the exposed slots that were under those boxes with vinyl graphic film to seal out the elements. The image I'm including is the wiring I needed to hook up a Gem Remote box. My father had manual switches in his control box that used the same wiring color scheme. This is for the 120V hookup. T6 and T8 are the two starting capacitors. You energize one or the other to start the thing moving CW or CCW, and the other two wire pairs are always the same.
