I bought a 3/4 hp electric motor from mophorn for my older delta drill press . Motor easy to wire and install. Good value for price. LS in Hannacriox n.y.

I got this motor for a bandsaw that I rebuilt and it works great it has good power easy to install.JP

We installed this on an older bandsaw, and were looking for an inexpensive 3/4 HP motor. I think it’s a good motor for the price, and was not looking for a top-of-the-line unit. Installation was easy, and the motor runs fine. I would like to note several things that may or may not be an issue.1) The capacitor is on one side of the motor, but the box holding thr wiring and overheating switch are bulky and on the other side. On some older woodworking equipment the box for the wiring will be in the way of the equipment. (It was for us, and required a work-around).2) The mounting bracket is a bit thin, and not quite as long as I needed. For some equipment you may need to use a intermediate plywood mount.3) when wiring, you may need to reverse the motor direction. If so, a clearer diagram has showing which wires to swap would be appropriate. it did not take long however to get it functioning.

I used it on my metal lath

Installation is not yet complete so I don't yet know about the starting performance and the run performance.1. The motor data is incomplete because the starting characteristics are not spelled out. So I don't know if the starting winding will give good service or it will be like other Chinese motors that typically have poor starting winding life.2. The motor appears to be TEFC however nowhere does it say so. I can only guess that it is actually TEFC. That's a fire safety issue.3. Nowhere in the received information does it indicate sleeve bearings vs ball bearings. Need to know!Submitted by FGH.

Works perfectly for me. A high quality motor at a great price. I haven't had any issues with it at all.
