We’ll see if I get a reply from tech support. Overall a good price but I was caught off guard to see a plastic foot petal. How long can that last? Also the foot petal doesn’t stop you have to flip the switch to stop. No good.

Best camp chairs I have purchased! They are sturdy and very comfortable, and so easy to set up and put away. My whole family loves them.

Great pottery wheel for the weekenders!
This pottery wheel is a great solution for the weekend warriors. Simple and easy to use and clean. I did attach a small anchor to the legs to firm up any movement when in use.

Cheap Wheel
This wheel was broken upon arrival. When I opened the box the switch was detached and the remainder of the switch connected to the wires was shoved into the machine so I had to use my fingers to pull it out (at first I thought this was a situation where I was supposed to assemble the machine). When I reached out to technical support they requested several photos of the broken machine and outside packaging to deduce that it didn’t arrive broken due to a delivery issue. Their solution was to mail me a new switch in 10-15 days. Am I supposed to install this myself? Are you going to guide me through it? Neither questions answered - only that they would mail me a switch in two weeks. How can you deliver a 50 lb pottery wheel in 3 days but it takes 2 weeks for a switch? At that point I just asked for a refund. They then said, instead of us sending you a switch, we would like to offer you $45 instead. WTF? In what world does that make sense? I wanted to buy directly from the retailer vs Amazon because I figured I would get more helpful support. The support is not helpful ultimately I could’ve gotten a full refund by calling my credit company. In the end I was able to process my refund once I chatted with the 24/7 service and not the support ticket service that would take hours to respond. However they are not having me ship the machine back, they said I could keep it, did not offer to send the switch. So now I have to throw away this 50 pound machine that would have required one repair. What a waste

Why include foot pedal if no work?
Have used a few times, I can tell ya, it definitely spins at a good speed. I was a little scared going in that it wouldn't get up to a speed I would need for throwing clay, but it does for sure. Can already start to smell it burning out unfortunately. I'm worried about it's lifespan. Foot pedal never worked, so all my adjustments on speed are done on the screen with my clay-covered hands. Not a deal breaker, but a tad annoying. No bat-pins, so you have to throw directly on a tough surface. Never had problems with that, but it's good to know going in that you would have to make some serious adjustments if you want to include bats.

Arrived quickly, easy to set up. The foot pedal did not stop the machine. I contacted customer service and explained the issue. They promptly replied with a video explaining how to fix the issue. The fix was simple and completed in about five minutes.

Good machine
For the price, it's of decent quality. However it doesn't have a lip to protect the on/off switch or where the wall plug, plugs into the machine. Overall it's a decent machine for the price

$200 well spent
This is a great intro pottery wheel. I have thrown many things on it so far and have not had any issues. Nothing fancy about this wheel, but it gets the job done. It's even small and light enough that you can take it outside in the summer to enjoy the sunshine while throwing! No complaints so far

For the price, this is an amazing wheel for a beginner. I got mine because I don't have access to my school's pottery wheels during the summer, and so far it has worked pretty well. It comes with a whole bunch of trimming tools, a couple wood and metal ribs, a wire clay cutter, an apron and a round sponge. The tools aren't bad, but the quality of the handles is somewhat rougher, although it doesn't much affect the effectiveness of tools. The sponge is plastic and feels lower quality. The wheel itself is pretty good, although after using it for a while there is a slight knocking noise. I don't know what it is from, but it doesn't seem to affect the performance of the wheel. It does not have pins for attaching plastic bats to the head, but I just attached my wooden bats from hobby lobby using a piece of clay that I keep on the wheelhead. The splash guard is sturdy and keeps the mess most contained. The wheel is short, so if it is too low you can just raise it up with a box under it. I just use a lower chair. The wheel speed is controlled with a plastic footpedal, but it does feel fairly sturdy. The wheel direction has two modes of clockwise and counterclockwise. I use the counterclockwise direction because I am right handed Overall, for about $120 usd, this wheel is amazing for a beginner. It comes with basic tools to get started with pottery, and I would recommend. Additional notes: apron ripped at the strings to tie when I wasn't careful, so be careful Make sure to have all the pottery necessities such as a water bucket, drying board, etc Have a space big enough for all your pottery tools and supplies. I put my wheel in my basement under the stairs Happy throwing!

Great starter wheel for beginners
Absolutely love the VEVOR Pottery Wheel! The 9.8” LCD touch screen is incredibly user-friendly and makes controlling the speed and direction effortless. The 350W motor is powerful yet smooth, ensuring consistent performance even for larger projects. The foot pedal adds a level of precision that’s perfect for both beginners and experienced potters. The detachable ABS basin makes cleanup a breeze, and the overall build quality is top-notch. Whether you’re experienced or just starting out, this pottery wheel is an excellent choice for your art and craft projects. Highly recommend!
