Getting clear directions was the hardest thing.contacted the company about very vague directions to hook up the thermostat. All they did was send a picture. The mat itself wasn't hard to install
I've just installed the heating mat and outside of outside of a learning curve it went as well as it could. I didn't know that you could not cut off the excess and was left with wire I didn't know what to do with. Rating was on how I liked the product so far, I have not yet had the chance to test it.
