I purchased this magnet to try "Magnet Fishing". It has a hellava pull to it. Unreal really. I was at work when I opened it up and immediately it locked on to our conference table. I like to never have gotten it off of the table the pull is so GREAT. I haven't tried magnet fishing with it yet, maybe I'm scared I'll hook on to something too big and I won't physically be able to pull it out of the water. You can catch a car, a motorcycle, a refrigerator, a motorhome, et al. This thing really works!!!! If you want to catch that "big one", buy this magnet.

Very strong accidentally stuck to the steel bridge and like to never got it off. Very strong I epoxied the eye bolt so it wouldn't unscrew.

Its a great magnet. I put it on a 150' 1/2" rope. Works great. Latterly pulled a car transmission out of the local lake. It dropped off several times, but it finally came up.

I gave it 2 stars for Ease of remove ( which is good) because you better not let the entire magnet go against a tool box or you will have to pry it off. Suggest having a thin piece of wood or cloth as a buffer. I use the bag or I would never get it off the tool cabinet. See size as compared with my hand
