I haven’t had a chance to put it in the water yet, but it hooked up to my 82 Johnson pretty easily. You have to buy the harness adapter specific to your engine separately! So, if you’re not electrically savvy, definitely go that route. The key is a little tricky, so gently mess around with it to figure out how it works. The kill switch strap seems cheap and figure out how it worked effectively, so that will not be used lol. All in all, easy install, just some wire splicing to do. 4 stars.
