We decided to do Cheesesteaks at a county fair recently. We bought 125lbs of Peppers and 75lbs of onions. We bought this slicer to help with slicing all this. This thing works really well! We were both surprised how well it works and it saved us so much time! Highly recommended

I really like my Veggie Slicer. Shipping was fast, packaged good, and easy to use. My only complaint is after doing apples and potatoes I had to tear it completely down to clean the liquid from where the frame is attached.Thats because I wanted it to be spot-less when I was done using it. Be careful when putting things in the unit as you can cut your self on the very sharp blade. This unit comes highly recommended by me.

I was using a mandoline before to slice potatoes for making chips. This cut them so thin I ended up with double the amount! Definitely be careful when using this. I can see some ppl getting hurt using this if not safe with it. When I did the potatoes, I had to cut at least one end so it it had a flat edge to rest again. I also had to hold the potato in place until I had about 2 slices in and then it stayed in place.

We do a lot of charity fund raisers and we've always struggled with finding a way to deal with cabbage.Contrary to the photos in the description, you need to cut the cabbage in quarters in order to shred it.Once the cabbage is quartered, it goes though this very quickly, we can do around 20 large heads in less than 30 minutes.It also works great on large onions

Very well built and works very well. The only negative is that it is large and clumsy to store. It is very good for slicing multiple cucumbers at a time for pickles. Very easy to adjust and it adjusts from paper thin to reasonably thick. Very sharp and sturdy blades and very easy to use. Easy to take apart for cleaning, except for the little spring lock bolt on the back of the blade shaft which is hard to get your fingers on. Once you do it comes apart very nice and goes back together even nicer.
