Build quality seems good and turns my two engines smoothly. I had to build a new mounting plate out of starboard since the steering helm is smaller than the seastar unit that was removed.

Great replacement and I like the quality of this part. I have had it on my boat for almost 2 years now and it has yet to fail me

There was more in the package than I needed for my steering repairs and there were issues with some threads and I had to have some nuts machined for the left side . Not sure why left and right were different . It is working well and it is well made but that said , I'm happy with it .

Truly - this is an in-kind replacement for a Seastar hydraulic steering kit at a fraction of the cost. Saved a lot of money going those route. I was a bit concerned about going off-brand to do the replacement but I was impressed with the build quality. The fit is perfect, and the function is the same as the previous (seastar) kit. Fantastic replacement kit.
