Was very sketch to buy this from some of the reviews I have seen on this thread but honestly this is the absolute best one for the price highly recommend it does what I need it to but use caution that plate gets beyond hot so make sure you don’t over cook after how well the first one worked I bought 2 more as back up but all 3 work flawlessly and have not needed any repairs does what it’s supposed to and the magnetic stirrer is strong

Never thought this type of equipment was so inexpensive. But it is and it works just it's supposed to work. The big thing to be mindful of is the temp probe only reads correctly when it's submerged in liquid. If the level evaporates below the probe, all bets are off, you have a crusty dish.

Works but heat does not turn off very quickly once u hit ur set temperature

My only problem with the unit is the bar that holds the tempeture probe is about 2 inches too short. I am unable to get a 1000 ml erlenmeyer flask under the holder. I have to lay it on top of the flask.

Read a review that said there was no auto temp control. Appearantly they didnt read manual. You can in fact set the tem range and it will hold within that range
