Setup is very easy
This product went together very easy. I now have seedlings sprouting. Just watch where they show on the instructions about where you put plugs for routing the flow of water. I have the timer on for 15min and off 45min. It does not come with a reservoir but that was stated. I like the fact that it is quiet. The wheels roll or you can lock them in place. As far as I am concern, this product is made well and I feel it is worth the price. It took me about an hour to assemble. No glue necessary. It comes with a rubber mallet. Just look for a large rubber looking thing and a dowel and thats your mallet to tap it together. No leaks were ever observed and I have been running the system for about 2 weeks now.

A bit difficult to assemble
Set it up today. One big pipe to small pipe reducer had the smaller pipe too long so the piece that interconnected the three big pipes couldn't fit snugly. Had to cut off excess pipe length. I used a 5 gallon bucket as a reservoir and cut two holes in the lid. The cross piece with the end caps linking the top shelf could barely meet and so sags in the middle. I suspect it is because the smaller pipes on the reducer for the big pipes are not even in length so there is a little difference in overall length.I bought seedlings so I had to wash the potting soil off and then thread them through the sponges. I'm not sure why, but the top layer closest to where the nutrient solution is pumped in has the lowest level of solution, about 1" whereas the bottom row at the end furthest from where it flows back into the reservoir has the deepest. It's just a little off plumb because I raised it off the ground with cinder blocks so it can reach the top of the five gallon bucket. I had to use wood as shims to try and level. Will update as time goes on.The description is wrong at the top of the page where it describes a timer. You don't get a timer, only a pump.

Love this!!
Super easy to assemble and use... I bought two of them and use them at work (I work for nyc parks) to produce healthier, stronger and more bug resistant plants... The only negetive I've incountered is not being about to connect the pump to the provided tubing and since it's clear algea built up quickly... Other then that I highly recommend this product especially of you're new to hydroponics.

Easy to assemble
My only issue and it's not the fault of the manufacturer is that you must get your seedlings a good size before placing them in this unit, otherwise they are simply too fraile to withstand the sun and elements.

Easy to Set Up. Grew Veges all summer. Worked great!
When I purchased this hydroponic system I was a little skeptical. Seemed like the price was too good to be true. I struggled a little to set up but overall was fairly easy. I simply pushed piping together and hand tightened. No leaks and it worked great. I purchased a 10 gallon plastic tote with a cover and drilled a hole near top for pump cord and return line. Found bilge hose with a clamp at Lowes that worked great for return line. The net cups are hard to find if you want to have extras from what was provided. I used rockwool cubes instead of the cubes provided. Grew lots of fresh lettuce, arugula, microgreens, kale and swiss chard. I had a blast with it! -GVA
