Nice compact system
I am very impressed with this system. I have been doing hydroponics for a while now and normally build my own systems but I saw this and wanted to give it a try. Very well designed and good quality. The material is light weight but very well crafted. Easy to put together. No leaks and no glue needed. The pump runs at just the right flow rate.

It's really nice just don't use the crap sponges they give you
I like this product and am very tempted to buy another but I have been waiting to see some veggies before purchasing another. I had some beautiful sprouts that stayed that way and never grew any larger in the sponges they provided. I used some if the sponges that I got with my iDoo and had much better results. So the product is great minus the sponges. I started some red pepper sprouts by wrapping seeds in a wet paper towel and putting it in a zip lock bag and hanging it on my window, then transferring the sprouts to the sponges that I got from the IDoo. I also started some sprouts with the iDoo and moving them over to the Lapond

Follow instructions carefully.
Well, this was a lot of fun to out together until I put it together backwards..2nd time not so fun..but..finally got it up and running. No leaks. Drainage tube wasn't long enough so I improvised..woke up to a very wet basement the next day ( totally my fault) bought a proper tube, used the handy pipe tape provided in the kit..no problems since! Can't wait to start growing stuff. I would by again.

Well made, well organized with good assembly instructions.
This was easy to assemble, took just over an hour. There were spare parts, thank you Lapond. This is thicker and more sturdy PVC than what I might find locally. I set this up in an I oversized bath tub to level, fill and run the system to test the pump without the timer first. There were no leaks and it works as expected. This also gave me an idea how much water is needed to prime the tubes plus the flow through amount before I add nutrients and plants. The white foam included is for germinating separately. The net cups are sturdy plus I can put clay pellets in them or use peat sponges from the hydroponics store. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

Works well. Good quality
This is pretty good quality, easy to install and works great. I bought a clothes storage container from Walmart for about $5 and drilled a hole for the tube going to the inlet and another for the exit pipe after I put it all together to make sure I drilled the right height.

Works great but missing timer pump
This thing is great. Lots of plants with a wonderful taste you won’t get in a store bought vegetables.Did not come with the timer controlled pump. I had to buy that extra. All in all not bad.

great little system
Easy to assemble with quality materials. Much cheaper than trying to build one from scratch.

Proper assembly is important
A good project if you are moderately capable of assembly. The best way to tackle this is to start at the bottom and work up through the layers paying careful attention to plug location on the way up. You must tap the joints together solidly to avoid leakage after assembly. There is a small mallet provided but a good mallet or a wood block and hammer would be much better. I ran this unit continuously for more than 12 hours after assembly and had no leaks. If you were to go out and purchase the materials to build your own, you would spend at a minimum $150 so I believe it is a good value. Had there been some useful assembly instructions, I would give it a 5 rating. For some reason Amazon markets so many Chinese products which typically have zero instructions.
