I'm fixing up my old boat that has been sitting up for over a decade. The old steering cable had some cuts in the shielding and the metal cables inside rusted up solid. Now with this new kit I am one step closer to getting it back on the water. Very pleased and would recommend.

It’s high quality and works very well. It was easy to install, and after two months of use, it continues to perform nicely and maintain its quality. Overall, I’m very satisfied—it functions perfectly for me.

This was a good fit for my 1980s era johnson powered 16ft center console. Value wise pretty good for the dollar. Identical functionality to OEM and being new had less slop. Now keep in mind the ease of installing this depends on experience, tools, experience, and boat design. In other words in my boat which has an open deign and only required routing the cables down the side and into the center console from The engine it was easy. At thus price should it wear or become less ideal replacement is almost easier than maintenance lol.

I got the 10ft version. It is fairly straightforward to install, the hardest part was removing the old steering system. This was on a Ranger 372v bass boat.

Works great and a good quality. Would recommend and I will buy another for my other boat. Every thing I have bought from Vevor has been great
