I was kind of wondering about this trailer mover until I put it on my boat trailer! But after installing it, this thing is awesome!!! I’m not sure how much my boat weighs but it moves it pretty easily. The tire on it is wide so it gives you the best grip possible. I haven’t used it except for playing around after installing but if it works like it did around my house I will be very happy!!

Had to buy extra clamps. Can not reach anyone for parts

Powerful little wheel, using on my 24' travel trailer 5000lb 600lb tongue weight , only downfall is the mounting bracket for the trailer, I knew this going in from other reviews but I knew I could fabricate my own mounting bracket and I did and was able to make it work great. It would be 5 stars if it came with stronger mounting plate, but for the price it is well worth the extra fabrication I did

I have not bolted it to any trailer yet, so I cannot speak to it's power. I am working on a design to allow me to quickly move it from trailer to trailer. ( I have 3 to try to include). I will be modifying it in some way. The biggest complaint in reviews is the mounting bracket being too weak. I don't know if it has been enhanced since these reviews, but the bracket included is made of rather heavy steel. I know from reading earlier reviews that some people have installed it incorrectly, by not placing the bracket slots over the post embossments. (Maybe they can't read). Incorrect installation can certainly cause failure. I do not anticipate any issues with the bracket. I may be replacing it all together, however, depending on how I work out my trailer-swap design. The Trailer Mover appears to be a great product for the price. I will review again when I get it installed.

This little trailer mover is freaking awesome! I have no more than four inches of clearance on either side to get my little camper trailer in the garage, and this maneuvers it in so easily (also up a slight incline right before the garage door, absolutely no issues). Had no idea what to expect, but I am so pleasantly surprised. Would I recommend it? You bet I would!!!

It is a great little trailer mover. That said, it needs to be beefier. The strap that holds it to the trailer is not enough to keep it stable. After one use the switch that controls the forward/backward stopped functioning. I contacted the company and their response was quick. Hoo Rah! They asked for photos to show what I thought was wrong. I tried taking a video and sure enough it started working again. I don’t think I have seen the last of the switch malfunction as I noticed there were quite a few complaints from other reviewers. Everyone thinks that whatever needs to be done to keep it going is worth it. Me too!

The motorized jockey wheel is great. I moved my 4,000 lbs travel trailer all around my driveway, saving me the trouble of having to hook it up to my pickup, pull out into the street, and jockey it around in the driveway while blocking traffic on my street. I researched other motorized jockey devices, and they cost a lot more. One caveat: you can't extend the shaft on the device any more than is absolutely necessary. When I first tried it, I cranked the handle to raise the trailer up until it was level with the ground. When I tried to move the trailer with the shaft fully extended like that, the shaft bent and (like several other reviewers I read) I was afraid it was going to snap. So I lowered it all the way down. The trailer was way out of level, but that didn't hurt it any, since I had no appliances running inside the trailer. Once I lowered the trailer so the device's shaft was not extended, it didn't bend or sway, and it worked just fine. So just hook it up to your trailer, but don't raise it, and it will work wonderfully.
