Pump fitting are peculiar, they are neither npt or garden hose threads! I tossed them in trash. I installed pump using only brass fittings ( pump has 3/4” npt- - threads have paint in them, cleaned with wire brush) and stainless steel hoses under sink. I used a inexpensive timer from Walmart. I used a digital thermostat, set it to 80/68 F, works great! Cpvc water lines cause temp lag. It runs an average of 27 min a day, approximately 3 min per cycle. Timer set to 12 hr, run a day. I did install a chk valve in discharge side, connected under kitchen sink, water is pushed into cold water line.

It does the job it was designed to do, note to shipping, pack them w more foam, if dropped, slipped out of holding and breaks electrical cover, I had to send first one back.

Very nice pump. Quiet, effective.I placed this on a long hot water run, pumping the water back to the hot water tank, with check valves. I used a timed, temp controlled 120v outlet to power the pump. I have instantaneous hot water now at the furthest point. Easy to install, can’t even hear it running…

My second pump - 1st one lasted 4 years

I have purchased two of these pumps and they are working perfectly. I will purchase more in the future. jg

I installed this pump in combination with a remote thermostat controlled manifold on my hot water heater.. I set the pump to the 9 cfs option. I get hot water in less than 5 seconds. I powered it using a countdown timer with multiple time options.

Does all it claimed to. It was way cheaper than the other options I considered and seems like it will do basically everything those models did. I do wish it had come with a fitting for my male 3/4 inch water heater pipes, but that was easy enough to pick up at a local hardware store. I also wish there were some way to have it periodically come on just long enough to see if the under sink valves are open and then run until those close, but I'll figure out a way around that too, probably with some smart home stuff to make it even better than just that feature would. It did take a bit to get it installed because the exhaust collector thing on my gas powered water heater gets in the way when adding it where it's intended to go for my use case, but maybe other people have an easier to move exhaust pipe or install it somewhere else in the system. It also had really poorly written instructions that seem to be a machine translation of some foreign language instead of even having been proof read by anyone who speaks English. I did get it installed by myself though and I have basically no plumbing experience, so I can't complain too much there. Overall seems like it's going to be a really good pump for a while.
