Simple and good value, the 6 foot heater attached easily with high temp electric tape. You will need the tape to secure it every 6 inches. You will also need tin foil to wrap around plastic pipe or hose before you put it on, and you will need to wrap the whole deal with insulation, I used foam insulating tape made by Frost King. I used this on the water line from the fresh water tank to where it entered the bottom of the trailer, about a five foot run.

We take care of RV parks in the mountains. Heat tape for the water hydrants in the winter is extremely important. These are the best, in my husband's opinion.

Got this product for my outside pipe. I live in Texas and this is what the plumbers used before to unfreeze the water. I keep it on hand now.

We bought a mobile home in June, in going over various things I noticed the heat tape underneath for the incoming water line looked pretty ratty, I ordered and installed this one. The last 2 weeks have been single digit temps with some negatives overnight and the water continues to flow, so it looks like it does its job well.

Worked as it should for the cold weather we had. However, it wasn’t tested against a hard, multiple day, sub 32° freeze. Time will tell how it works against those conditions. Will update review when that weather occurs.

Best easy to install and now my water line no longer gets frozen love this.
