Amazing product works very well

Other than the plastic drive gear, these units perform as well as the high dollar SERVO brand units. The plastic drive gears are the same as the other brands, so we stock them as a routine maintenance item.

I have a Taiwan Bridgeport clone from the mid 1980's that was missing the X-axis powerfeed. The VEVOR AI-310S powerfeed is a really nice upgrade from the manual turning and provides a much better finish to my parts.

I figured I'd need to make some changes during install and was not disappointed. Had to make a stepped key to drive the bronze gear and a short 4mm key for the handle . Unit works pretty well but does not stop on the limit switches like a Servo feed does

This power feed was used on a grizzly 10x50 mill that is no longer made and it worked fine. It was easy to adapt.

I've used a few of these style power feeds over the years, including the old school American brands and I can say they all are pretty similar in function with variations in quality. I bought a couple of the ALSGS branded ones fairly recently and I had a failure almost instantly on one of them (stripped plastic gear inside it). The other gives me fits and starts because it was assembled poorly and I had to dismantle and repair it. This Vevor one worked smooth right out of the box. My only complaint is that the included plastic nut to hold the dial in place is literal trash (it was too large for the threads and stripped instantly), and the old dial nut from my machine would not fit without massaging even though it is a metric thread of presumably the correct size. As others have said, some work may need to be done to the woodruff key and sizing of the bore to make this gear fit. Once set up it's worked flawlessly though.

These have plenty of power for any the X, Y or Z axis on a Bridgeport milling machine. I've even adapted these units to move the table and head vertically on my Rockwell EFI drill press. I can't see any reason to spend two to five times as much for competitive brands...though I have indeed done that and can verify they all work just about exactly alike. And the directions for this unit are just as bad as the directions for the $500 uniits.
