This rewinder does what it is supposed to do and is worth purchasing for the roughly quarter of the cost of other machines. It does have English comments over what I assume is Chinese instructions, so you can make out what the three buttons do. It rotates slower than the YouTube videos but does keep up once you pause the printer for the initial rewind start. It has a bar at the bottom that goes on top of what you rewind so it will throttle itself. Perfect fit for the Zebra 1" rolls we rewind (ZM400 printer.) We ended up using a little duct tape to hold the plastic spacer for the 1" rolls, but not a big thing. I would put loctite on the screws when you assemble it. The meta guide near the controls needs to be placed away from the yellow sensor about a quarter inch to allow it to spin freely. So far we have rewound about twenty rolls without issue (about six rolls a week.)Bottom line is it does the job, it is a decent product, and I'd buy it again. I would like to open up the product and add grease to the gears to quiet them down a bit. I would also like to know how to speed it up since it has the throttle bar at the bottom to handle the initial few revolutions.
