Works well out of the box
This oven does a good job, but with the addition of a temperature sensor it does amazing work. It’s built well and I had no issues getting set up.

No-brainer
This T962A replaced the smaller 180x 235mm unit (model T962) we purchased from a seller called in order to accommodate larger PCBs. The programming of profiles is a bit wonky, exactly the same as its smaller sibling. But a suitable profile was already pre-programmed which is good for standard 63/37 solder. This unit plots the actual measured temperature on a graph overlayed with the programmed profile. The smaller sibling has lasted us for 5 years now and is still working, so if this unit is anything like that, its quite acceptable. This unit looks like it came from the same manufacturer. Buying this for under $700 is a no-brainer when compared with the other options: assembling your own toaster-oven unit, someone else building a toaster-oven style, or going to the next competitor which wants $2000 for something equivalent.

Nice tool
The cheapest reflow oven you could buy 2 years ago was around $1000 so I made my own from a cheap toaster oven. Now this one is under $300 and its a steal! My concern was that it would be very difficult setting custom cycles. In fact its not that hard to do at all. However two of the pre-programmed cycles work for my different solder pastes. The progress of the reflow cycle is plotted on a graph as the cycle progresses. Checking the temperatures witha thermocouple, you must keep the PCBs away from the front 1" of the tray. (where its close to the glass) Anywhere else, the temperature is consistent.

Wonderful product
It was robustly packaged for the airline journey. Promptly shipped. Item works as advertised - right out of the box. Documentation can use some improvements in grammar. I am satisfied with my purchase. A good purchase. I have assembled very complex cards with this Oven - 484 Pin BGA, 169 Pin BGA, 79-QFN, 0402 resistors and capacitors in a single card.

Wishing I would have bought the $500 unit instead.
Rated four stars due to the great price. Can successfully reflow a 4x4” board using the back mid-center of the oven, as trying to reflow 2 of my boards resulted in unreflowed areas on the outskirts. So I can only reflow one board at a time. Did the heat tape upgrade noted on the tube. Had no bad spell, other then the normal flux smell during the high-temp reflow process.

No masking tape in manufacture anymore.
My unit was manufactured 08/2018.They already get rid of masking tape...Great.Test run no smell. Will run again with some boards.

Works perfectly fine
Soldered 4in X6.6in PCBs. It is very easy to use. Select a program and go.

Very happy with my Happybuy Reflow Oven!
I was nervous to spend over $200 for this oven, but it works great right out of the box. I have been using Chip-Quick low temp soldering paste and the first standard soldering profile (even though it is a much higher soldering profile than the Chip-Quick suggests) - it is soooo awesome. I put a tiny, tiny bit of solder paste on the pads, place my part, and throw the board in the oven. 8 or so minutes later, I have a perfectly soldered board. I have had no trouble and have been very pleased with this purchase.
