Easy to use, wonderful pricing without a doubt, the camera itself is a decent quality piece of machinery. Great clear color picture as well, we thoroughly enjoyed using it right away. The cable being flimsy worried us, but it actually holds up well. I did want to point out a few flaws, just for future customers and hopefully the manufacturer. The locator tool has been extremely disappointing, this locator is not made to find the camera head underground. The only time it reads is when I was testing the locator directly onto it and with the two machines literally touching. Luckily we have another locator which also pings the 512hz. I’m currently looking into sending the locator back to exchange it. Another huge down side is there’s no app available to wifi connect to save or send a video, and there’s also no slot for a thumb drive to save videos for city inspectors to r large scale customers who aren’t always on site, but want to see the condition of their pipes

I had an obstruction in my 6 in PVC pond drain pipe that I could not snake out with a drain snake. I couldn't imagine what it could be. I bought the drain camera to find out. My plumber buddy was there for the maiden voyage of the camera. I connected five 20 ft. pieces of 3/4 in sch. 40 pvc and taped the camera with the included roller attachment to the pvc, and pushed it 95 feet up the 6 in drain line. (the yellow cable is not rigid enough to push it that far. I did, however, push it directly up the tail pipe of my truck, around a couple of bends all the way to the muffler with no problem) Turns out that the pond drain pipe was collapsed. The camera allowed me to identify the problem, the first step of any solution. The instructions for the memory card playback leave a lot to be desired, and playback was problematic on the video screen, but when I plugged the card into my computer it worked just fine. Even had audio! My friends all want to use this camera. The picture is clear,, the design is simple and compact. It is a good value, pretty intuitive to use. I recommend this camera system. It takes the guesswork out of difficult to read situations.

When I receive the unit there was an issue with the camera. After contacting the seller they were very conscious in rectifying the problem. I'm pleased with the quality of the picture and would recommend thus camera system.

Great Value
This tool is well made and works great for the price. I have used it to clear a lightly blocked waste lines and inspect a few 3-4" waste lines. I used it for about 8 months and still works great. The only complaint is the camera dose not find its own level in the pipe, so if you are upside down you will need to rotate the screen. A few jobs done with it and it pays for the cost. The camera skid is OK, I lost mine when it got stuck at the end of the line and it fell off. Sometimes its better to not use the skid. I also got it with the pipe beacon locater, it works OK but not as good as the RIDGID system. It will get you close to where the pipe is about 1-2 ft away, but no depth of pipe indication.
