80 Watts Each
Each mat uses about 80 watts of electricity. Not very much but it does melt the snow and ice. I did reorder larger mats. I needed wider ones for my stairs. I’m in MN and it’s -5 and still working. Just had a blizzard. Did great.

There safe and use very little electricity. Turn it on and forget them
I use these heat mats to keep ice off of my deck in the winter I go out in the morning to feed my cats and it can be quite slick. I have a 5 foot Mat and a 3 x 3 and two step mats. It allows me to move around the deck freely without worry of slipping. My cats love to sleep on them also keeps them warm in the winter. Keeps their water from freezing. Well worth the money

No more icy steps
Well made product which, after two snow/ice storms, worked well. I no longer have to clear the steps and/or apply salt, which is not very friendly to brick steps.

Works great for more than stairs
We purchased to use as a way to warm buried water pipes in northern wisconsin winter. Working great so far.

125 Watts Per Mat running.
I have had an ice problem for years. The snow would melt or fall off my roof then land on my stone steps and just melt and freeze over and over again. I can’t use salt or grit because it’s stone so this was my only option. So far great!! It melts snow at a significant rate and ice I’ll add. I put this newer bigger pad on top of ice and within hours the ice and water were gone. I would add more if it wouldn’t interfere with my snow removal. The only annoying thing about then is the one main cord getting on the way when you’re shoveling but I knew it would be. Each mat uses 125 Watts according to my Sense power meter. I would definitely buy again.

Keeps the stair clear of snow
Good price, well packaged, arrived on time, works like a charm. Plugs into three larger mats on the deck that I previously purchased. Wife wants five more of the larger matts for a stone walkway, unfortunately we were on vacation when they were on sale, but I'm going to order them anyway - full price is worth it.

Good for the job
I am 74 and I found it very dangerous stepping down two steps to get to the ground in the winter. Ice constantly formed on the cement steps. These mats do the trick. They leave a nice area to step into which is ice free. I bought one to begin with to see if it worked, and then I bought another one for the second step. These are the smallest mats. I would have bought the next size larger, but they were too wide for my steps. They plug in easily and that is that. Remember though, you have to buy the cord to go into the outside outlet separately. I am very very pleased with them. My cat likes to sit on them too.

Fantastic Product
This mat works like a champ. I have a brick front porch that I won’t salt or use any metal shovels or ice scrapers on because I don’t want to damage the brick. Consequently, this will leave the front porch slippery and at times, dangerous. I used to just block it off and make visitors go to the back door. Now I just put the mat down (I use the available smaller mats for the stairs), plug it in and the ice and snow melt right off.

Problems solved!
I use these on steps to enter my rental units. Removing snow in a timely manner proves difficult. Water drip from metal roof to steps solved an icing issue!
