I work on cars for a living and this service was the primary reason I bought the large cleaner. Still playing with different cleaning solutions and degreasers to speed up the process but very happy with these cleaners.

I used this with jewelry cleaner to clean two watches with built up gunk: a Rolex and a Citizen I have had for years that I used to wear daily. They both came out super clean and look new. The cleaning solution looked very muddy after the cleaning indicating it worked really good. Both watches are water resistant so I was able to submerge them in the cleaner.This unit is perfect for cleaning jewelry like watches, but you should get a larger size if you plan to clean larger items.I’m really pleased with this purchase.

I purchased this to clean take-off parts while servicing my Audi. Instead of scrubbing and soaking parts in solutions like I've done in the past, I used a degreaser and biodegradable rust solution (separately) and the parts came out like new! I'm saving money for the larger capacity unit!The directions were simple (although some bad grammar and misspelled words--umm grammarly?) but overall the machine is user-friendly.

Great stuff

It has outlived the one I bought from Harbor Freight that only worked for the first 180 seconds before it died. This one works well, but you have to have a lot of fluid in it for safe operation. And it is loud as others have stated, so put it in another room if it bothers you.

I sent it to a friend so he can use it to clean up my carburetor and transmission parts as he builds it he and his coworker loves it and will most likely be buying 2 one for each of them just beware of who ships it I wasn’t there when it got delivered and had a dent near the drain if still works just sucks to have a dent

This is for shop use. It's a bit loud, as you should expect. It's for shop use.Did I mention it's for shop use?I've used it about 5 times so far and it's great. Cleaned two carbs, needles, various bits and Bob's, out in the garage... Because, well... It's for shop use. It's does everything well. The water gets pretty hot, and controlling temp is not precise, as you should imagine, considering how these things work. The reason being, running ultrasonic waves through liquid heats the liquid. So does the element that create the waves. So, heating element or not, there will be some heating simply as a byproduct of ultrasonic cleaning. The heating element in this just allows you to make your cleaning solution even hotter, which can be useful.So far, as I said, it's been great. Appropriate amount of "noise", gets things very clean, easy to fill and easy to clean out. Nice steel used, I like the lid and basket. Timers work perfectly.All around great, as long as it keeps working.

Let me repeat this, DO NOT USE HEATING WITH RUBBING ALCOHOL! Oh my god, yes! It's one of theses reviews! So anyways I have some stuff i need to clean in 91% isopropyl alcohol or IPA. I'd been using one of these cheap jewelry cleaners for stuff but the plastic wasn't acetone friendly, specially with the lid closed. Ask me how i know! Haha. Anyways i wanted something big enough to dip an og xbox motherboard into or other similar sized or larger than my jewelry one could do objects. This guy certainly fit the bill so I snagged one. Well one night I was playing around and had about 1.5 gallons of rubbing alcohol running a cycle on that xbox original board to get years of smoking off it for a recap. Roommate calls and needs me to bring her a work item, so I did... I left for all of 20 minutes, 20 MINUTES!!! I live in a 3 bedroom apartment. That thing boiled off over 2 quarts in that time and it was only 40c!!! (IPA boils at 82c) The smell of rubbing alcohol was still so strong that even with all the doors and windows open for 6 hours it still smelled like a hospital the next day. Good thing my apartment is all electric no pilot lights go boom! Anyways so yeah the IPA heats up well enough just from the ultrasonic emitters.Maybe I'll make a lid that allows me to recycle the alcohol after use by distillation and reclaim pure versus contaminated but filtered waste
