I've had it on my outside 100 foot 72 stair stairwell at the Lake for 3 years and no rust is showing. Must have been a bad batch or it got something spilled on it the other guys mentions.

Great quality product. Prepare for a few extra days on delivery than most amazon products due to the weight (approx 22lbs). Had to come through FedEx standard - which was perfectly fine. Company is transparent about this when you buy. Quality is great. Bought for my stair railing and paired with mazata cable railing anchor kits
