Some assembly required, it was no big deal. The directions are basically useless. The hose that runs from the valve set to the base of the Jack section had to be cut to length, but that was also pretty easy. I tightened the nut in place, put the valve set in place, and jacked up the car a few times with it. I have a 95 Lincoln Town Car, curb weight 4002 lb, and it jacked it up in about 10 seconds, no questions asked. However, I was using a big air compressor, the small one that I have in my car isn't working right now, I don't know how well that one will do. But with a big garage compressor, the Jack goes right up. I also let it sit for about 10 minutes, and the car did not go down at all, so it does not appear to have any leaks. I'm giving it 4 stars only because I have no idea what the longevity will be. Also, it is a little bit big, and while that was expected, the two handles and the valve set could have been better organized to make the jack a little bit smaller, I do intend to keep this in the trunk of the car.
