This item is a good product and well constructed but...The glass tubes are extremely fragile and may easily arrive broken as mine was. Thankfully a spare is provided but QC seems to be an issue especially when shipping via Fedex. and there were no assembly instructions in the package

You better be able to figure things out there are no instructions. It took me to crack one of the glass cylinders before I realized you had to double up on the gaskets. That's probably why they send two.

Great Purchase. I realize that this UV set up uses the same bulbs, quartz and ballast as my pond UV system, but at 1/5 the cost. Its a no brainer.
