This motor seems to be as good as any of the $300 + motors I’ve bought. They last a few years. We’ll see how this one does.

Used this as a replacement for a Pentair Whisperflo pool pump the feeds some pool waterfalls. Easy replacement for the original motor that was on the Whisperflo. There are 3 features that would make this 5-star all around: 1) make the rear motor shaft accessible without removing the rear cover cap (for easier pump seals/o-rings replacement); 2) the rear motor shaft is machined for 10mm wrench vs the standard 1/2" so I need metric as well as imperial to replace the motor; and 3) the electrical connection area is a little tight. None of these are deal breakers though and I've ordered another to have on hand as a backup.

Died in less than 6 months. VEVOR does not stand behind their product at all. AVOID. Purchase elsewhere from a more reputable vendor.

Quoted $2800 by our pool guy to change out dead pool pump. The pump itself wasn’t dead, just the motor. So for $130 shipped I had it fixed in 30 minutes! Motor has been running for 7 hours a day on the pool pump/filter for 3 months now no issues!

So far so good. The price was great. The motor was as advertised for a pool pump motor replacement. Quality appears to be good but only time will tell. The only challenge was installing the leads with lugs already installed. With a flex connector installed there is very little space to get leads through due to location of a board inside the motor. It probably would have taken less time to install if I would have cut the lugs off before running the leads. Otherwise, I would buy again if it is shown to be reliable.

Very happy with the motor , it’s working perfectly . Arrived in very good condition, very well packed with very good condition.

The motor is direct replacement for Century 1.5hp 56y frame used on Hayward pool pumps. Very easy bolt together project. A few reviewers complained about wiring connections but while rather tight it was easy enough by using spade connectors on my wiring. Some also complained the motor is noisy but I think those people are hearing more pump noise than motor noise. The sound from motor is normal electric motor hum, the bearing are relatively quiet. All said this motor is a good value

It makes a whining noise. Help desk is not very helpful. I think I have a lemon. If the company reaches out to me to make it right, I’ll update.

This motor is good but is louder than expected but other than that if noise won't bother then should be a good product
