Make sure you only use the red bag of black diamond (fine grit) from Tractor Supply. I found that literally every other media clogged the gun or the ball valve on the bottom. I tried strained sand, black diamond black back (medium grit), fine grit pulverized glass, etc.. the only media I didn’t try was the stuff harbor freight sells. But that’s pretty pricey. The red bag of black diamond is like $12.00 at my local tractor supply, and that’s 50lbs. Once you get it working it actually works great!

I have a blast cabinet and an open air blast pot that I have been using for a few years. This vacuum blaster makes what we do so much easier with less clean up. Good value!

Works awesome and way cheaper than anything else on the market definitely does not leave a mess like other sandblasters on the market

I often need to open the bottom material valve and run the air to clear the clumps…..an agitator or stirring mechanism in the unit would likely fix the issue. Also i added a piece of hose to protect the ceramic tip , other models have a metal protector shield. If it had both of these , this would be a superb product.

I finally got around to using it this weekend and I was very impressed. I was prepping pistons to apply ceramic coating (Cerakote) and did the work inside one of those plastic storage bins. I was expecting media blowing all over the place but it was extremely well contained by the brush and the vacuum running. Whatever fell into the plastic container I just used vacuum to put it back inside the unit and reuse it. Considering that I was using aluminum oxide media which is very expensive compared to coal slag (slag is $13 for 50 pounds and aluminum oxide is $90 for $50 in 120 grit) being able to almost eliminate loss it helps the wallet!

Great value for the money wish the included gauge read in PSI and included a funnel that was pictured in the parts list

At first it was a bit tricky to feather the sand valve to the air flow but once I got it dialed in it is a pretty good portable small unit. The nozzle gun is fine at first but after some use it needs some repair

Well made, does the job better than just a suction sandblaster. A nice addition to my shop. Be aware that it doesn't come with the filler funnel as some similar branded ones do.
