Impressively Sturdy, Easy to Assemble
This little 12U rack is impressively sturdy. Nice gauge steel used for all parts , well powder coated. I think a key aspect of this rack’s design is that the top and bottom pieces are made from a single, bent and formed, piece of steel. Went together easily, the instructions are nice and clear. All the pieces go together with nuts and bolts. In truth, it took me about 30 minutes (there’s only so fast that I can put 48 nuts or on the 48 bolts and tighten them all with the driver drill). The bolts snug-up easily, without the use of washers, because they use flange nuts with a slight serration on the bottom to keep the nut from turning when it comes in contact with the surface. Everything lined up well and was well finished. No sharp edges. There were some minor cosmetic defects on the back of the top piece, where the point was scuffed/rubbed. It’s an equipment rack, so I don’t care. But if it was much worse, I’d have complained. The power distribution panel is clearly “not great” (see the other reviews), and if you’re using a UPS for your equipment you don’t want to plug a surge suppressor into your UPS in any case. I tossed the power distribution panel right into the trash, and used a Tripp Lite distribution panel. I didn’t use the included shelf… instead I bought two Riveco 14” 1U shelves and installed those, Plenty of decent quality cage nuts and bolts provided with the unit. I was happy that I didn’t have to struggle to get the cage nuts into the square holes (as I’ve had to do with other, “professional” racks). Note that the BACK of the rack has round holes that supposedly takes 10-32 screws. If the silver screws provided in the package are supposed to fit (they can’t be for anything else) they definitely do not… so, no verdict on the round holes. In summary…. A decent little rack, particularly for home use. Recommended for that purpose.

Top shelf quality
Where racks are concerned this one's pretty solid. I know it's marketed as a network rack but I use it for audio equipment as a photo clearly shows. The audio equipment is considerably heavier than network equipment for the most part, and I've not experienced any buckling or bending or any kind of damage from the weight of those two amps. We have lifted this thing up and down at least four times already back of my truck for events and it's holding up like a champ. So sturdiness at this moment is not an issue. I guess we'll see for the long run how it holds up over the next year of use. This thing came with way more support screws and clips than you will ever need. The only thing I would add to this would be wire guides on the inside. Otherwise. You can't go wrong with this purchase.

perfect for what I needed
its easy to assemble, and as you can see ample space for my systems, also nice and slim, not very bulky, it does comes with no racks, you should add those, if you would need then, I source the ones you see, from a sysrac I replace with this one, the other one was just way too bulky and everything got hot inside even with 4 fans insise the unit. I was not especting this to be good actually, I mean it is not very expensive, also, this unit has the back and front open, but as long as it is against the wall, and good wire management, you should be just fine. if you are just looking for a functional U18 rack, and you just want function, I recommend this, again please do your research, on how many equipment pieces are you going to put in there.

Audio Solid!!!
This is a great under the desk side car for audio racked units. Super good quality and comes with a ton of mounting screws. I was in the market looking for a particular size to roll out from under my desk with a keyboard (platform desk - by output) and this fit perfectly. I like the option of the legs on the unit even with the wheels in case I need to staion it. Its a super great deal too since in certain music stores the price would be triple (of course another brand), but this is supreme quality and I'm glad I went with it. Greatly satisfied.

Worked great
For the price it’s a very affordable rack mount storage cart, for a long time I had my equipment sitting on top of a weight rack leaving it vulnerable to damage and possibly falling and breaking. Seen this rack mount car and decided to purchase it and use it. Wasn’t that hard to assemble and put my equipment in. I finally have a professional looking setup, and I have room to add more in the future

Great product. Poor instructions
The product is fabulous. I have not used a rack system before so this wasn’t sure about which way the rails should go on. The instructions just showed a picture that you could not identify if the square holes or round holes face forward.

Product was as advertised, and is now in-service, meeting my needs.
A slight confusion on what screw sizes were provided, and where exactly they go.

Tank is right
I thought I was missing the screws to put this together but they were all in one bag - this unit could withstand a bomb - looking forward to putting it all together...now...where is that turret?
