Hard to put together
I found this very difficult to put together but it looks very nice. It worked well and has a big spread. My own mistake, I tried to avoid putting the big bolts into my house and used lag bolts instead, we had a bad wind and it pulled right off. This was my fault though so just keep in mind that if you try that route it might not work. On a good note, even though it fell down it was completely unharmed so the quality seems to be very good. The photo shows the size of the holes I used with the lag bolt which are covered now because I didn't want water coming in.

It’s a little hard to figure out the instructions but once you get it the build goes pretty fast. Make sure you get it attached to the studs or the structural supports. The 12x10 moves in the wind and you definitely want it secured. As far as operation, it works flawlessly no issues and is operated daily.

It's a nice patio cover
Looks nice on our patio and is easy to roll in and out. All the hardware were provided. It wasn't difficult to install, however the instruction could be better: the illustrations/instructions was in a very small print, thus was hard to read. It's a two-person job.

EXCELLENT VALUE!!
I am a 5'4 woman. I assembled this myself in 45 minutes, only because I had to stop and get a large stool and distance the poles by trial and error. Essentially, you can follow the near word-less instructions just by the well-drawn diagrams. Take a moment to read through the instructions once, and then step by step, it is quite simple. All I needed was a Phillips head screwdriver. The fabric is very durable and the poles are in TIGHT. I was able to adjust it to my exactly 86\" deck, flat surfaces. I noticed the feet can pivot, which would make it possible to wedge it against a slanted ceiling. I was able to tighten the feet and align the bars by myself. All in all, excellent value, as I purchased a used one for $68 and it was in near perfect condition, maybe a few scratches on one pole, but can't tell if it's due to shipping or what. Everything was wrapped as if it was new. No missing parts. Highly recommend for anyone looking for something cheap or are in an rental like me and are weary of screwing things into walls.

First and foremost, the shipping was very quick, quicker than I expected. The frame and canvas are very solid and this will definitely be a two person install as it is heavy and somewhat awkward for one person. The only thing I am having issues with is adjusting the arms that's extend. The instructions say one thing but then when I watch installation videos from people who have also purchased this on a, they show the arms being somewhere else. They are not easy to adjust and don't slide freely. They would also be very helpful if the instructions were better written

Good quality
My hubby put this together and he found the instructions to be good and he found it fairly easy to install. The hardest part was running the three cords through the fabric. We worked on this together and he did the rest. He did install a 2x6 plate to attach the awning to the wall to ensure it was secure. Also, he had to buy some lag screws as he said the bolts included were for concrete. We are extremely happy with the awning and feel it was a great value for the cost. And fairly easy to put up if you take your time and read the instructions carefully.

Manual 118 x 47 sun awning
Nice product, does what it advertises. A few quality control issues kept me from giving it 5 stars: First, beware of tightening the clamps too much on the upright support posts. The plastic will show white stress marks, a precursor to eventual material failure. The topmost clamps that fit into the ends of the top roller tube will not need much tightening to keep them from turning inward or outward, because the attachment to the roller tube will by itself hold the clamps in the proper orientation. Use just enough tightness to keep them and the roller tube from drifting down on the posts. Actually, once your installation is done, an extra screw installed through the clamp and the upright post will guarantee your roller never slides down. Second, the last pieces secured on each end of the roller tube (the d-washer and the shiny cap nut) leave too much looseness. That allows quicker wearing and distorting of the plastic bearing surfaces between the clamp and the roller tube. Before installing the awning, I put certain thicknesses of washers in that clamp-to-d-washer space to eliminate that way-too-loose fit. There should be the tiniest wiggle possible between the black support clamp and the d-washer, once that cap nut is tightened, so you can easily turn the washer(s) you added. If there is no wiggle room, it will be quite difficult to turn the manual crank handle to roll up or roll out the shade! Finally, the sewing on 2 velcro tabs at the ends of the security screen was poorly done, making the velcro only half effective. Actually, some velcro with more aggressive grabbing power would be better. Vevor, I offer you my services in product improvement for a very modest fee!

Tough to install but worth it!
Quality is ok, not top of the line. We wanted something to shade us from the sun in the mornings and we thought ok, not the best rated but a bargain and what did we have to lose, couple hundred bucks. Was really hard to install and figure out but patience got us there and I’m very happy with the end result. I do not like that vevor puts advertising on the valance. I removed the label but holes remain, albeit obscure and not really noticeable. Stop doing that Vevor! It’s not free advertising. So bottom line, take your time, expect some headaches, and consider different hardware for the brackets. We have fascia brick and a 6 inch fastener wasn’t going to work. But if you can see through all of that, you’ll end up with a nice awning that appears like it should last for less than $200. Worth it in my opinon. Good luck!
