This electric hydraulic rebar bender was purchased to replace an older electric mechanical rebar cutter/bender that was becoming unreliable. The VEVOR Electric Rebar Bender does operate smoothly and relatively quietly. It has heavier than I would want to carry around a jobsite, but more portable than other benders we have rented. The greatest lack in features is the absence of an angle gauge to speed multiple bends. We plan to scribe some reference marks below the yoke platform so an operator can quickly make repeat bends to standard angles. Have only used on one site for some test bends, but looking forward to see how it performs over the next several months. Price was excellent, as I was able to purchase this unit for less than what a one month rental would have cost.

Works very well. Hopefully it’ll last a long time bends bar tightly and efficiently. I’m very happy with it.

This machine definitely deserves a good review. I was a bit skeptical and apprehensive about buying it but it definitely served its purpose. It is a heavy machine but it does the job perfectly. I have lent it to other contractors and they will echo my sentiment. Usually tools like this can cost anywhere from $1,500 to $2,000. This absolutely does the job for a third of the price. I have only recently found this company Vevor but if this tool is anything to judge them by I will be buying more tools from them.

I tried this tool out and it makes the precise bends required for proper placement of steel rod in concrete. Much easier and faster than a manual bender.

This tool works great, just don't forget to bring a gorilla to carry it. It is very heavy and chances are you'll need to place it on the ground or some other work surface to use it because it weighs so much that just lifting it is a challenge let alone using it at the same time. But, if you're one of those guys that uses a tire iron to put on a condom, this tool is for you.

This tool works great. Is heavy, I was concerned before it came that the head would be flimsy, not a problem work fast and pain free!
