Works great. Easy to install and is doing a great job 30 days later. Works as it was described. I would buy it again and post likely will down the road.

The AO Smith/Century motor on my Hayward pool pump was nearing the end of its life due to worn bearings and was in such bad shape overall I couldn't repair it. After searching the web, I found this model at less than half the price of the OEM replacement, so I took a chance. Glad I did. Came extremely well packed, and looks very high quality, but the proof ins in the install. Replacement was quite easy (get a seal kit for your pump) and the pump fired up right away, running smooth and quiet. The only ding I would say is that you can't expect the standard amperage draw they list as 240V/6.8A. That may be with no load, but when running the pump I measured about 8.1A, close to the stated max load draw. Still a bit better than the OEM, so I'm happy so far.

This fits and is an efficient motor to replace the worn out one from my Hayward Super Pump II. It fits perfectly and is very quiet.

Hope the bearings will last. Slightly louder than the original pentair. Also the measurements are slightly different it fits the pentair pump housibg

Product arrive quickly the day after I placed the order. The motor easily installed onto my existing Hayward SuperPump with no issues. I used the included instructions paired with an online DIY video. The motor fired up perfectly and is running my pump wonderfully. Amazing replacement for a older Century motor, especially at this price. I hope it lasts as long as the more well-known brands.

Good quality motor, exactly the right replacement for Pentair motor with 1/2 price. The only issue is the ground wire for the green cable, wish there is a ground terminal in addition to the L1 and L2 terminal required for the 220v.

This is my second inground pool pump. The price is so good I purchased this one Incase I ever need another for my large pool. The specs are compatible to the old Hayward that ran my 26k gallon salt water filter system. I highly recommend this alternative brand.

When my Hayward pool pump stopped working I was beside myself. It would cost upwards of $2k to get this fixed for my 26k gallon Roman style inground pool. I searched online for an alternative and came across this Vevor pool pump with the same specs as the failed Hayward, but with a substantially lower price tag. At $130. I was eager to give it a try. I read reviews and was impressed with the recommendations. I ordered the vevor pump and figured I would interchange the impeller as it is compatible to the Hayward. At a substantial savings compared to the Hayward I gave it a chance. I began at 7am and quickly removed the failed Hayward and with a long fillips, a plyers and a 9/16 wrench I took the parts off. I cleaned the parts and also used a new set of gaskets I bought on Amazon for I think $13. The exchange was simple and the only challenge was one electrical wire that goes to the 230v or the 120v connector. The instructions were not clear and I placed the wire end on both connectors. Oops, it went on and immediately shut off. At the moment I could not see the problem so I called my electrician friend and he figured it out. The connector end only goes on one or the other. Once the connector was in the 230v position it started up and ran like a well oiled motor. It has been running now for about two months without any issues. I am very happy with this Vevor brand. I also found that my electric bill has not gone up significantly so again I am really pleased. My only complaint is with that connector wire. It should not fit onto both at the same time the engineers should make it idiot proof to connect. All considered, I am extremely happy with this alternative to the expensive Hayward pump. All spects were equal and at a much lower price. I do recommend that if you order this pump get the one with the impeller already assembled. This will save you the 40 minutes in exchanging the parts. I give it a 5 star rating. I also bought a second to keep on the shelf just Incase I ever need another.
