This pump is amazing! We used to have ponds that stay few days after the rain, which resulted a huge muddy area (and killed our grass...) After installing this pump (along with french drain - see tons of videos on Youtube about that), the ponds are gone... The pump starts automatically when the basin starts filling and stops when it empties. It is pretty quiet as well. In the pictures you can see the amount of water we had today (this is during Isaias...) and about an hour after the rain stopped - simply amazing... We should have bought this pump years ago...

This pump is an amazing buy for the price. Used it to drain my 12,000 gallon pool in about 3 hours. Highly recommend!

Got this pump to help drain our swimming pool, and it did a fantastic job! Pump was quiet and kept the water flowing right on out! Would definitely recommend this pump for the price point!

Easy installation and used it to pump water out from underneath house. Worked great. The auto off and on is a must.
